The Ring Boxing Club are looking to recruit  apprentice fitness instructors to work within an Exclusive Private Boxing Club in Central London.



As Ring Boxing Club Apprentice Coach you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of users at the club as you work towards your Fitness Instructing NVQ Level 2 with the YMCA.
Within the club you’ll be getting hands on practical experience assisting with classes and various project opportunities and events, as well as being responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the members’ area. As a bespoke 5 star facility, we expect high standards for our members from all of our team, and have some of the most experienced coaches in the Industry for you to learn from. Your job will also be versatile and will adapt to Club and Client needs with an all hands on deck policy.

As an Apprentice Ring Boxing Coach you’ll participate in club promotional events and generate sales leads, conduct gym tours and maintain a post-sale rapport with members. On reception you’ll be dealing with our members face to face, helping with enquiries. You will also be working towards you’re NVQ Level 2 with the YMCA in gym instructing.

This is an Apprenticeship position working towards the NVQ Level 2 with the YMCA in fitness instructing you’ll be working 30 hours per week on a shift rota.
The training is government funded and is provided by Lifetime Training.



Requirements and Prospectus
Desired skills

Candidates must have a keen interest within the Fitness industry as well as Boxing and want to progress within this field. You must also have great communication and customer service skills along with determination to succeed and work hard.

Personal qualities

Boxing experience in the capacity as a senior ABA Boxer. Previous experience in a gym, sales or customer interfacing role would be advantageous but comprehensive training can be given to those with natural enthusiasm and a passion for the industry.
Applicants must be self-motivated and target-driven yet able to work within a supportive team environment and possess a “can-do” attitude. There is scope for you to create a much wider role within the Club, but this is dependent on your own motivation, creativity and passion.
