The ultimate hour of strength and conditioning. Designed and run by celebrity personal trainer and pro boxing coach Mark ‘The Burf’ Burford. Take Cross Fit, boxing training,Tough Mudder and double it…That’s Berserker!

Berserker is a blend of Tabata, boxing training and sprint training. 21 stations of strength and CV exercises performed for a minimum of two minutes each. Strength stations cut into three sections of 20 sec with a final 30 sec blast. Rest periods between sets 10 sec, transition between exercise 20 sec. Designed to cater to athletes of all levels. It is advised that you bring an energy drink with you. Not suitable for people of moderate only fitness level.

Suitable for people with intermediate up to advanced levels of fitness. The instructor will give you options to create or reduce your training intensity according to your form in the class.

Do I need to be a club member to do a class?

Yes.

Do you have changing and shower facilities?

Yes. We have male and female changing facilities including showers.

Are the classes unisex?

Yes. All of our classes are for men and women.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes. You must be over 18 years old.

Do I need to bring my own kit to classes?

For most classes just bring regular training clothing. For 321 Sparring classes you will need a minimum of a properly fitting gum shield. You can purchase one at the club.

Will I get punched?

All of our classes apart from 321 Sparring are non contact. For 321 Sparring you will be supplied with protective clothing and head gear.

Are the trainers real boxers?

Yes. Every trainer is either a professional boxer or a professional trainer licensed by the british boxing board of control.

Is the gym a friendly place?

Yes. We guarantee a very friendly and professional welcome and a superb community of members and staff.

What are the opening hours?

Monday - Thursday 6am - 9pm

Friday 6am - 8pm

Saturday 10:30am - 4pm

Cancellations. If you wish to cancel a class booking you have purchased through PayPal, you must notify us, by email to info@theringboxingclub.com no later than 72 hours before the start of the class.

  • I wanted to learn the art of self defence and add variety to my daily workouts. The team at Ring Boxing Club offered me that in abundance! Joining a boxing club always seemed daunting to me until I met the family at The Ring. It’s so multi-cultural, a great mix of Men and Women and just a super friendly environment to learn in. The coaches and the drill’s themselves pushed me very hard and I very quickly became a lot sharper and fitter. The coaches are hilarious, fun but extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the world of boxing. I was on track to become the first British Indian WBC Super Middleweight Champion, but I had to leave London unfortunately, haha. I will miss you guys and thanks for everything.

  • I was looking for a fitness routine that would increase my stamina and build strength. I was bored of running machines and weight training and was looking for something that would challenge me. The Berserker is the toughest and most extreme work out I have ever undertaken. It requires both high level cardio fitness and strength training when using weights and bands. It is a challenge that I anticipate with dread, yet look forward to every week.
