The Ring Boxing Club opened in 2003 by professional boxing coach, Mark ‘The Burf’ Burford. The Ring is a world-class boxing gym, with its own team of professional fighters, as well as hoards of fitness enthusiasts who benefit from the high-level boxing coaches who operate there.

We are aware that many of our prospective Personal Training Clients have never boxed before and may be unsure whether it is for them. It is with that in mind that we created the An Introduction to Boxing. You’ll have your hands wrapped, get the chance to do pad work with a Professional Trainer and learn some cool moves. Your Trainer will also give you a guide you through the gym equipment, it’s relevance and application, as well as an explanation of our  training systems and services.

After completing An Introduction to Boxing You will be fully equipped with the knowledge to make an informed judgement on how you would like to proceed with us. We take the satisfaction of our Clients extremely seriously, and we never apply a ‘one size fits all’ mentality when advising our Clients. We are aware that a boxing gym, to some at least, can be an intimidating proposition. It’s our job to make it the best proposition, and an Introduction to Boxing should convince you of that!
